My company, Poules en Ville ( urban chicken coop) www.poulesenville.com and CHICK'N SWELL Brand were created from a vision I had since the day I started keeping backyard chickens, many years ago in my urban area, in Quebec, Canada. I am an influential speaker, consultant, author and trainer. I volunteered time to coach citizens in hundreds of cities by supporting groups of activists to help them legalize their project with city planners.

Certified on poultry care, behavior and welfare from Coursera course hosted by Dr. Victoria Sandilands and Gossamer Foundation offered by Ms.Foreman on health and care of backyard chickens.

I have written several articles in local magazines, on agriculture, animal welfare, and city planning and did many interviews on radio across the country. I also appeared on several TV shows on animal care such as chickens, where, as an expert I helped solve behavioral chicken problems.

My expertise and involvement has given me a solid reputation by working with avian veterinarians and government study groups on chicken health and husbandry.

My book, ( Des Poules dans Ma Cour) published in 2020 with Ecosociété, has been a great success in Quebec and in Europe. The book is considered a master reference and is very detailed.

I continue to offer consultations, webinars, conferences and manage a coop construction team that builds northern sturdy chicken coops which aligns with chicken welfare requirements and municipal by-law rules.

The Chick’N Swell brand was launched in 2021, after making a partnership with a manufacturer of animal health nutrition and several other laboratories. I created and developed this brand after many years of research, investigating many poultry health products, sold to consumers.
